Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO)
What is Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO) ?
Thermal Transfer Overprinting (TTO) is a printing process that applies a code to a flexible film or label. Thermal Transfer Overprinting (TTO) uses a thermal printhead and thermal transfer ribbon. The coloured ink in the ribbon is transferred onto the printing material in the specified target area to produce a code. Therefore choosing the right Thermal Transfer Ribbon (TTO) ribbon will not only effect the print quality, but also could increase your printhead lifespan.
